Welcome!
welcome to a pop-up shop of sorts. my housing forbids working from the apartment so offering items for DONATION ONLY, reasonable offers DO NOT include postage. A small flat rate priority box is $11, a padded letter-size envelope is $10 and medium flat rate box $16, this large enough for 2-3 items.
1. I am not a blue ribbon quilter...only one quilt i ever made got a ribbon, my hawaiian. that's staying!
2. i am mostly a hand quilter, make that free-form hand quilter. sure, there are times i use stencils and rulers but not always--thank you joe cunningham! vintage quilts we admire are often done that way.
3. i am in the 'wash all fabric' category...new fabrics and big scraps always get washed prior to use. if the project is scrappy there might be small pieces that didn't get washed. i recommend color catchers always, and i use only all cotton fabrics.
4. i strive for perfection but not always achieved. i do this for FUN, for ENJOYMENT, for RELAXATION, and to satisfy my creative muse.
5. i mostly machine piece but occasionally do hand piece; descriptions will indicate such. i mostly hand quilt but smaller pieces can be machine quilted; descriptions will indicate which.
6. happily accept pay pal or personal check, items mailed once check received. references available.
wow! kaffe fassett fabrics for this scrappy lozenges wall piece, measures 22x42", machine pieced and hand quilted.
this is my interpretation of one a gwen marston design. this is machine pieced, hand quilted, measures 24" square.
a small piece amish style made to use up some solid scraps, hand quilted, measures 14x20", machine pieced.
this is machine pieced, hand quilted, measures 26.5" square, fabrics except black are batiks...

I'm a sucker for churn dash quilts--the blocks must've been very small! Very pretty. And the last one of the Chinese coins--I enjoyed the quilt show!
ReplyDeleteLovely eye candy Grace. I hope you have some luck.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best with this venture. Sending you big hugs, as always~
ReplyDeleteJust barely found your post about this blog, while I was looking for something on your other blog. Are you marking them when they have found a new home? Several caught my eye, and I am trying to decide which to choose, but wondered if it might already be taken.
